GENERAL QUESTIONS
1. How do I take care of the jewelry?
Diamonds (simulated or otherwise) get smudged, soiled and dusty. Hand and body lotions, powders, soaps, even the natural skin oils, put film on the stones and cut down their brilliance. Our simulated diamonds should be cleaned so that the maximum amount of light can then enter and return in a fiery brilliance. It just takes a little care to keep them that way. You can keep your Sharon Rocks sparkling with a mild detergent bath. Prepare a small bowl of warm suds with any of the mild liquid detergents used in the home. Brush the pieces with an toothbrush while they are in the suds, not forgetting the inside of rings and all around the stone settings. Then rinse them under warm running water. Pat dry with a soft, lint-less cloth. Pearls, being made of organic material rather than rock, are much softer and more delicate than diamond simulants or semi-precious stones like topaz. It's a good idea, for example, to apply perfume, hair spray, and other cosmetics before putting on your pearls. In this way, you can minimize the amount of these products that come into contact with the pearls. After wearing your pearls, wipe them with a soft damp cloth to remove any traces of cosmetic products or body oils. Wash the pearls periodically with a mild soap and a soft cloth, to remove any accumulated build-up. Because of their delicacy, pearls should be stored separately, away from hard jewelry items, to prevent scratches or other damage. If possible, store them wrapped in soft cloth or in its original Sharon Rocks jewelry pouch, or jewelry box.
2. Can I pay by check?
At this moment, we will only accept checks from Hong Kong based banks for Hong Kong orders. The order will not be posted until the check has cleared (about 4 to 5 business days). Please make checks out to Tyrel Corporation HK Ltd.
Sharon Rocks is a subsidiary of Tyrel Corporation.
3. Where exactly do your stones come from?
Our simulated diamonds are formulated in the USA and our freshwater pearls are farmed in China and all are made of sterling silver/ 14k gold plated.
4. What is your minimum/ maximum order?
For retail customers, there is no minimum order. You are very welcome to buy one ring, or pair of earrings. For our distributors (i.e. wholesale customers), to qualify for wholesale pricing the minimum total per individual order must come to HK$800 or US$103. (For more information regarding becoming a distributor click here). There is no defined maximum order - however we may occasionally have a waiting period for some items which are temporarily out of stock.
5. Do you charge my credit card when I place an order?
Yes. This is standard practice amongst online retailers.

7. How much is shipping and handling to a Hong Kong address?
We charge HK$35 for delivery to all Hong Kong addresses. We use local Hong Kong Post's CourierPost service, which offers a next (working) day delivery.
8. How long does it take to ship / send out orders?
It takes us usually 2 working days or less from receiving an online order to shipping it out. If items are not immediately available we will notify you by email with an estimate of the waiting period.
DISTRIBUTOR QUESTIONS
1. Why should I become a Distributor?
Very simply, to make money, meet new people and to have fun!
2. Ok, I’ve become a Distributor, now how do I sell my stock?
We recommend starting with a house party (see tips for distributors). Other ideas are to sell to colleagues, family and friends, as well as people that they refer to you. But a good network of party hosts (whom you can give commissions or gift of products in return for hosting the party or for inviting guests) is a great sales asset.
3. What should I charge after I buy from you at a wholesale price?
It is entirely up to you. The price that Sharon Rocks lists is a recommended retail price, and of course many of our Distributors set their prices a little below that listed on our website. If you are looking to do a lot of volume in a shorter amount of time, you can set them lower still, depending on your target market.
4. Are there any restrictions of where I can sell?
As mentioned, most Distributors sell at home or office parties. Other options are at clubhouses, and at society meetings (i.e. Book Clubs, Coffee Mornings etc). For other locations such as in shops or at fairs we would prefer you to contact us first to discuss.
5. Can I buy your jewelry and sell it under another brand?
Not at this moment, but if that is something you are considering the best thing to do is to have a chat to us about it. |
